The drop NO ROOTS 01 begins with a heavyweight organic cotton T-shirt featuring “Congo” embroidered on the front and a bold back print of a tree. The tree is a reference to my name, Mutombo, which means “bud”—the first stage of a tree’s life and growth. The collection’s name and ROBOAM’s core values are also highlighted, with the ROBOAM logo embroidered beneath the round neck.
